He served as an Assistant District Attorney in Tarrant County and as an Assistant County Attorney in Williamson County, where he handled cases ranging from misdemeanor charges to capital murder. That meant managing cases from intake through jury trial and appeal, which is the same process he now works to challenge from the defense side.
