Cody Gomora

Cody Gomora joined Dallas TX DWI Lawyers in May 2024 and is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the Northern District of Texas. Before entering private practice, he served as an Arlington police officer, where he worked as an academy instructor, use of force reporting expert, and was nominated for Rookie of the Year. As part of Arlington’s Entertainment District and Tourism Unit, he handled a wide range of felony and misdemeanor cases.

Cody later worked as a Tarrant County prosecutor and at an AmLaw 100 firm before returning to criminal defense. Born and raised in North Texas, his passion for criminal law developed both in the classroom and through his time on the streets as a police officer. That firsthand experience, combined with his courtroom work as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, gives him a strong perspective when advocating for his clients.
